Description

Our diagonals have been designed with Z shaped dividers which ensure the barriers are more tag friendly than that of a straight diagonal.

Our diagonal barrier is designed with spring steel on the top and bottom bar. Unlike traditional horizontal feed barriers, diagonal feed barrier bars are manufactured at an angle, which can help to reduce feed waste and promote more efficient feeding. This diagonal feed barrier can be bolted into place or it can be hinged to allow access onto the feed passage. This feed barrier is suitable for all cow and cattle types. The diagonal design is designed to reduce bullying and assist in minimising feed wastage.

A 60mm diagonal barrier would be sufficient for the majority of cattle, as the thinner bars (in comparison to 76mm) can still provide adequate support and control whilst ensuring its ease of movement.

Specification

As a general rule, the height of the diagonal bars should be set at a level that allows the animals to comfortably reach their feed without having to strain their neck or back
