5 Bar and 4 Bar Gates

We have telescopic 5 and 4 bar gates to fit a number of different opening sizes and can even fit extensions for a multitude of cattle penning and handling applications. All of our gates feature adjustable bolts for levelling and can be raised by rotation.

Calving Gates

Our calving gates vastly improve safety and control of cows during calving. The heavy-duty gates are designed to withstand the push of a big animal, and ensure reduced stress for the animal, farmer and vet alike. For the cow’s safety, head gates are quick release to avoid choking hazards. Our calving gates are also designed to allow easy access for calves to suck.

Jourdain are world-renowned for their patented head-locking gates and use of unique sprung steel. With over 100 years of experience and expertise they have pioneered development of numerous products including the Jourdain Patented Octagonal post system with anti-corrosive sleeve.

Cattle Headlocks

Our selection of headlocks come in a variety of different size options covering many different spaces and metre combinations. All of our headlocks feature adjustable end pieces and collar widths, allowing for easy installation and modification, along with anti-choke mechanisms to release fallen animals. Our range is made from hot dripped galvanised steel and boasts a number of patented features including the Safety IV Locking Stop and the RAZ system, amongst others. Suitable for both beef and dairy cattle thanks to an option of larger or narrower head openings, our range of headlocks include:

Safety IV Headlocks

Designed with safety in mind, the Safety IV Headlocks include an anti-choking system, adjustable collar width, and heifer/calf guard to close small spaces.

Heifer Headlocks

Simple to install, and with narrower head spaces, our Heifer Headlocks have been specifically designed for Heifers.

Axial Headlocks

The Axial Headlocks are designed for beef cattle herds, with larger head openings to suit, and adjustable collar width for greater comfort.

Swedish Headlocks

Our Swedish Headlocks and Swedish Monopipe Headlocks are suited to long horned animals, with automatic opening panels and locking at the bottom.

Bull Headlocks

Designed specifically for Bulls, our Bull Headlocks boast added strength, adjustable collar widths, and different fixing options. We also supply a full range of headlock accessories to suit our cattle headlocks.

Cattle Feeding Barriers and Feed Rails

We provide both Diagonal Feed Barriers and Feston Barriers, as well as supplying made to order Timber Diagonal Feed Barriers.

Our cattle feed rails include the 2 Bar Feed Rail, which is designed for beef cows, and the 3 Bar Feed Rail, which is suitable for all stock types.

Our range of barriers and feed rails are all tag friendly, and are uniquely designed to reduce as much waste as possible, whilst also eliminating the chance of calves escaping. Our barrier collection comes in a number of different size options, and with adjustable end pieces.
